Well, I crossed paths with it tuesday night, around 8:15pm.
It was this exact car. It had the "FIRST M5" license plate and gold BBS wheels.
I drooled over this car in the video, but in person it was even more beautiful. I have only been reinforced in my opinion that it is the best looking M5. It also sounded glorious. It was also DAMN quick. I was behind him went flat out on a long onramp, and so I matched...he slowly walked me, while belting out that straight six howl.
Yeah, I have to own one of these sometime soon.

These are great buys right now. They're not as expensive as E30 M3s yet.

Awesome, I have a friend that has one and loves it. Did you know that all E28 M5's are black?

Yep, and I'm okay with that. Black looks so right on the car.
Most had tan leather, but 101 late model cars (71 for Candada, 30 for the US) had black leather as well.

Yeah, my friend's has the tan leather. They really are lovely cars. You should get one before the prices go the way of the E30 M3.
